So what should your resume contain?

info.gif Experience

info.gif Education Affiliations

info.gif Training

info.gif Your resume should contain information on your accomplishments.

info.gif Should tell a story

info.gif Begin with an ACTION

info.gif Show the benefit the company received

info.gif Show how the benefit in #’s if possible

info.gif Detail how the accomplishment could benefit the new company

info.gif Accomplishments should start in the top half of page one

info.gif Consider putting accomplishments in the experience section

info.gif When speaking all of the things that you have done in the past be very specific such as…

info.gif Achieved 120% sales growth 6 months in a row for total increased revenue of $133,500.

info.gif Developed processes to save an average of $12,100 per quarter without an negative impact.

info.gif When it comes to your education be sure that you are truthful.

info.gif Don’t put skills in your resume that you don’t have, and don’t exaggerate.

info.gif You can omit things that would be harmful, but always be honest about what you do include.

info.gif Be sure you add information about any Schools, locations, degrees, dates of graduation High GPAs and so on.

info.gif Include time in college even if you didn’t graduate.
